“A GENTLE CRAFT
Mr Godfrey Blount, of Haslemere, Surrey, is going to try an
experiment in wood carving on a new style and he would like to hear from any
humanitarian craftswomen who are interested in the subject.
The school that he suggests would be conducted on Fruitarian
lines.
The more that we can combine practical arts and science and
agriculture and industries of every sort with our humane ideals the better it
will be for all, but new experiments must be well and carefully thought out.
Those who wish to learn the details of the scheme should
direct to the promoters of this Peasant Art Industry."
